Albeit from opposite sides of an ocean, this week we had the opportunity to sit down with Benoît Marguet for a conversation about his history, his wines, and what it is to be a biodynamic grower-producer in Champagne today. We have been working with Benoît since 2015 and admire his attention to detail, commitment to biodynamic practices and extreme thoughtfulness in both the vineyard and cellar. His finished wines are vinous beyond what one normally expects from Champagne. They are wildly expressive, and we are always reaching for another glass.
